JULY 28th - 30th 2008

“What is most systemic is most local”

The workshop's theme will focus on leading systemically at a local level. In essence, this means we will be taking part in sessions led by local leaders whose work increases capacity to address global issues through local engagement. The sessions will be both experiential, giving us the opportunity to work on their own learning, as well as informational so that we may take insights and best practices back with us.

Applications for participation should come from individuals in organizations whose intention and vision rely upon grounding decisions and strategy on the relationships between their organization and the local community, as well as how they function as a part of the wider global community. If you are looking to enhance your capacity of how to profit economically, in community, and in balance with the earth's resources this workshop is for you.

The European Sustainability Group is a collection of European members from business, government, research, and private interest groups who seek to increase their own organizational capacity through learning with a diversity of perspectives.

Early Bird Registration ends June 15th.

In addition we encourage you to attend the 3rd Festival of Stewardship on July 26th and 27th at the nearby Falkland Palace .

See http://www.bigtentfestival.co.uk/ for further details on the festival.
